🔺 Spring Cleaning. Gamecock baseball broke out the brooms and swept Missouri over the weekend! Amp Phillips went more than eight innings allowing no runs and striking out a season-high 10 batters in Friday’s 1-0 win. They completed the sweep with a 6-4 win on Saturday as Dawson Harman homered twice, driving in a total of four runs on the day.

🔺 Spring Kings. South Carolina football’s spring practice concluded on Saturday! Shane Beamer announced many awards for different Gamecocks, highlighted by Justin Okoronkwo earning Special Teams Player of the Spring, Peyton Williams earning Defensive Player of the Spring, and Matt Fuller being named the Offensive Player of the Spring. 🔺 Triple Threat. South Carolina equestrian earned three SEC Rider of the Year awards and seven All-SEC honors. Alexis Potts earned Horsemanship Rider of the Year, Grace Rabb earned Fences Rider of the Year, and Lillian Laney was named Newcomer Horsemanship Rider of the Year.

🔺 Finished Strong. The No. 25 South Carolina women’s tennis team defeated No. 50 Alabama 4-2 in their regular season finale. The Gamecocks secured the doubles point and carried the momentum into singles play, with wins from Helena Buchwald, Sara Borkop, and Kaitlyn Carnicella.
