Tailgate Talks: Jackie Bradley Jr. — Up next on the tailgate is a man who truly needs no introduction to Carolina fans. He's the 2010 College World Series MVP, an MLB All-Star, a Gold-Glove winner, and World Series champion, but true Gamecocks only need to hear three letters: JBJ.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Dream Team. Senior All-American women’s golfers Hannah Darling and Louise Rydqvist were named to the ANNIKA Award Postseason Watch List. The duo, key players in the Gamecocks’ SEC Championship win, are among 15 players on the list for the top female DI collegiate golfer award.

The Gamecocks earned the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Charlottesville Regional. NCAA Regionals will run May 5-7, with the top-five teams at each of the six sites advancing to the NCAA Championship.

🔺 Dynamic Duo. Two Gamecocks earned SEC women’s tennis honors! Sarah Hamner was named First Team All-SEC for the fourth consecutive year, while Kaitlyn Carnicella was named to the Second Team. Both Gamecocks were ranked on ITA through the entire dual match season. South Carolina will learn their postseason fate on April 28 during the NCAA Selection Show.

🔺 Best Is Yet To Come. Women’s soccer’s Katie Shea Collins had a standout freshman season! She hopes to grow as a player and learn from her experiences with the U.S. Women’s U20 National Team and Solo FC, and is excited to participate in The Soccer Tournament. Collins, who scored 13 goals last season, is focused on team success and is eager to contribute even more to the Gamecocks’ this fall.
