Tailgate Talks: Jackie Bradley Jr. — Up next on the tailgate is a man who truly needs no introduction to Carolina fans. He's the 2010 College World Series MVP, an MLB All-Star, a Gold-Glove winner, and World Series champion, but true Gamecocks only need to hear three letters: JBJ.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Bluegrass Baseball. Gamecock baseball is headed to Lexington, Kentucky to play the Wildcats this weekend! First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. tonight, with all three games streaming on SEC Network+. The Gamecocks are coming off a midweek win over North Florida and a 2-1 weekend over No. 11 Ole Miss.

🔺 Road Show. The No. 13/11 softball team is also on the road this weekend! They’ll play at Auburn for the final road series of the season. The Gamecocks have won four SEC series so far this season, the most since 2018. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. tonight, with all three matchups streaming on SEC Network+.

🔺 PlayMakeer. The women’s basketball team has signed Agot Makeer, a 6-foot-1 wing from Thunder Bay, Ontario! Ranked as the No. 6 recruit in the Class of 2025, Makeer is known for her size, speed, and versatility, and has represented Canada internationally. She played her final season of high school basketball at Montverde Academy in Florida.

🔺 Sandy Days Ahead. South Carolina beach volleyball begins postseason play in the final edition of the CCSA Tournament. The Gamecocks, seeded fourth, will face top-seeded Texas in the first round today at 10 a.m. The Gamecocks will play either Florida State or LSU at 4 p.m. or 6 p.m., depending on results. This year’s tournament will be played at LSU. The action will stream for free on VBTV.

🔺 Queen City Sprintin’. The track & field team is back in action! They’ll compete at the Charlotte Invitational, a two-day event in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is one of just two regular season meets remaining before postseason begins. Today will consist of four field events, beginning with the women’s hammer throw at 2:30 p.m.

🔺 Terrific Trio. Three men’s tennis players earned All-SEC honors! Connor Thomson was named All-SEC First Team, while Lucas da Silva and Casey Hoole earned Second Team honors. The Gamecocks will learn their postseason fate on April 28.
