🔺 Big Cheesin’. South Carolina cornerback Brandon Cisse was selected in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. Cisse recorded 65 tackles, 10 pass breakups, and two interceptions in his collegiate career.
🔺 Charged Up. Defensive tackle Nick Barrett was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Barrett is the fourth Gamecock defensive tackle selected in the past four years.
🔺 Buffalo Bound. Defensive back Jalon Kilgore was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Kilgore joins a long line of South Carolina defensive backs selected in the NFL Draft.
🔺 SEC Series Secured. South Carolina baseball took an SEC series from Kentucky over the weekend! They started the weekend strong, scoring five runs in the first inning and beating the Wildcats 10-9 on Friday. The Gamecocks kept it going on Saturday with a 9-4 win, led by Talmadge LeCroy’s three-hit day. The Gamecocks dropped the final game of the series, 9-5.
🔺 Strong Senior Night. South Carolina softball earned a top-15 SEC series win! They beat No. 11 Texas A&M 3-1 on Senior Night to start the weekend. Natalie Heath hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the second that proved to be enough. Jori Heard pitched a complete game, allowing only one run and striking out five. The Gamecocks dropped game two, 2-1. They bounced back to secure the series on Sunday with a 2-1 win. Quincee Lilio scored the game-winning run off Karley Shelton’s sacrifice bunt.
🔺 Road Domination. South Carolina track & field dominated at the Tiger Track Classic, securing nine overall wins and six new Top 10 program marks. The women’s team won five events, with JaMeesia Ford leading the way with victories in the 100m and 200m, setting a facility record in the latter. The men’s team also performed well, winning four events, including the 400m, 110m hurdles, and 800m.
