🔺 Field Of Dreams. Twelve-year-old Gabriel Lyon, a Gamecock baseball fan with autism, lived his dream of being part of the team through the efforts of Dream On 3 and the South Carolina Collegiate Dream Team. Gabriel enjoyed a weekend filled with baseball experiences, including meeting his favorite former player, Evan Stone, and throwing out the first pitch. The weekend was a memorable experience for Gabriel, who aspires to play baseball in high school and college.

🔺 Gamecock Gala. The Gamecock Gala honored top student-athletes last night, with Sophie Verzyl winning the President’s Award and Female Athlete of the Year. Josiah Wrice was named Male Athlete of the Year.

🔺 Tuesday Tilt. South Carolina baseball is back in action tonight! They’ll host The Citadel at 6:30 p.m. on SEC Network+. The Gamecocks are coming off a 3-1 week that was highlighted by a series win over Kentucky.

🔺 Free For All. South Carolina softball is home for the final time this season tonight! They’ll host South Carolina State at 6 p.m. Admission is free for all to attend!

🔺 Golden Girl. Gamecock diver Sophie Verzyl won three gold medals at The American Cup in Fort Lauderdale, including individual and synchronized events.

🔺 Perseverance & Faith. Junior discus thrower Ella Lucas overcame multiple injuries and surgeries during her collegiate career. Through perseverance, faith, and support from her team and mental health resources, she regained her passion for the sport. Now, she focuses on enjoying the journey and contributing to her team, both on and off the field.
