Gamecocks Untold: Mackay - Growing up, Jamie Mackay was used to being the only girl on the field. She fell in love with baseball at a young age and dreamed of playing in college, but life opened another door when she was offered an SEC softball scholarship before ever playing a single inning of the sport. Now, after transferring to South Carolina for her senior season, Jamie is looking for one final postseason run before heading back to women's professional baseball. Much like the 2026 Gamecocks, the California native has turned a rollercoaster season into an opportunity for a storybook ending.

 🔺 Bark In The Park. Gamecock baseball returns to action tonight when they host Winthrop at 6:30 p.m. on SEC Network+. Tonight will be the final Bark in the Park of 2026! Click here to pre-register your pup for a fun night at Founders Park.

🔺 Dozen Pros. A dozen former Gamecocks made WNBA Opening Day rosters, meaning all 12 Gamecocks who entered training camp in April made their respective team’s rosters. South Carolina leads the SEC with played in the WNBA.

🔺 Staying Steady. Four Gamecock women’s golfers are playing in NCAA Regionals! Vairana Heck is tied for seventh at the Tallahassee Regional, with teammate Molly McLean tied for 50th. Eila Galitsky is tied for 18th and Maylis Lamoure is tied for 23rd at the Louisville Regional. The quartet will continue play today.
