🥎  PREMIERING THIS WEEK - The Follow: The Arrival (Ep. 1): In the heart of Columbia, a new era of South Carolina softball has begun. With a first year head coach making her return to the program, and a combination of impact returners and fresh faces, the Gamecocks are hungry to prove they belong. After a roaring start, one thing is certain: it didn’t take long to shatter those last place preseason expectations. Gamecock softball has arrived.

🔺 Comeback Complete. Gamecock baseball rallied, scoring five runs in the eighth inning to defeat Winthrop 6-5. Beau Hollins came up strong with a 3-run double to put the Gamecocks ahead. Parker Marlatt picked up his second save after pitching a clean ninth inning. South Carolina finishes midweek play with a 13-1 record.

The university leads the SEC in student-athlete honors, plus South Carolina secured the Palmetto Series title for the sixth time in seven years. Several teams have earned NCAA Tournament bids and several student-athletes were drafted into professional leagues over the last couple of months.

🔺 Legendary Experience. The University of South Carolina and Legends have partnered to enhance the fan experience at Gamecocks sporting events and maximize revenue generation. Legends will manage premium seating, support ticket sales, and philanthropic fundraising for the renovated Williams-Brice Stadium.

🔺 Made A Leap. The men’s golf team jumped up four spots on day two of the NCAA Bermerton Regional! They sit in third-place at 2-under after a round two of 7-under. Frankie Harris leads the team in third place at 6-under. The final round will be played today with the top-five teams advancing to the NCAA Championships.
