Tailgate Talks: John Strickland — Offensive lineman never get the love they deserve, right? Well, they do on the Tailgate! John Strickland, the Gamecocks' center from 2000-2004, might be the biggest South Carolina fan out there. From big bowl wins, to a brawl, and playing for legendary coach Lou Holtz, John has plenty of great stories for Gamecock nation.

🔺 May Madness. The 13th-ranked men’s tennis team continues postseason play today! They’ll play at ACC Champion Stanford in the NCAA Super Regionals at 3 p.m. The match will live stream on Play Sight.

🔺 Looking Ahead. Gamecock softball fell to No. 1 Texas A&M in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals last night, 12-4. Karley Shelton hit her fourth home run of the season, while Quincee Lilio hit her first. The Gamecocks will wait to hear their named called during the NCAA Selection Show on Sunday at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.

🔺 On To The Next. Gamecock baseball fell to No. 8 Auburn 24-2 last night at Plainsmen Park. Nathan Hall brought in Blake Jackson with his 13th double of the season. Jase Woita hit his sixth home run of the season. The teams will play a doubleheader today, beginning at 2 p.m. The first game will air on SEC Network, while the second will stream on SEC Network+.
