"Schnall Ball" has landed in Columbia! Here's your very first chance to hear from new University of South Carolina head baseball coach, Kevin Schnall. After spending more than two decades at Coastal Carolina, the 2025 Baseball America College Coach of the Year takes over for the Gamecocks, ready to compete in the SEC. In his first appearance as Carolina's new skipper, Schnall shares his philosophy on hitting, the transfer portal, and why now was the right time to make the move to USC.

🔺 Taking Shape. Game time windows have been announced for the 2026 football season! South Carolina’s game at Alabama will be played at night. Games against Tennessee and Texas A&M will be played in the afternoon, while the rest are in the flex or early windows.

🔺 We Are Family. South Carolina women’s basketball led the nation in attendance average for the 12th-straight season! An average of 15,368 fans per home game gathered at Colonial Life Arena for the 2025-26 season. South Carolina posted nine of the top-10 on-campus crowds in the nation for the season.

🔺 In Agreement. Gamecock men’s golfer Frankie Harris has been named a consensus All-American as he earned Second Team All-America honors from PING and Golfweek. He put together one of the best individual seasons in Gamecock history this year, logging a scoring average of 69.91 with nine top-20 finishes.

🔺 Finished Strong. South Carolina men’s track & field’s Devan Crumpton and Jaouad Khchina earned Second Team All-American honors in the 400m and 1500m, respectively, at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Several Gamecock women will compete in the finals tomorrow.
