🔺 Standing In The Hall Of Fame. The South Carolina Association of Lettermen’s Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026 has been announced! The 2010 and 2011 National Champion baseball teams will be inducted, alongside seven individuals.

• Steve Spurrier: Football (2005-2015)

• Sabrina D’Angelo: Women’s Soccer (2011-14)

• Tyasha Harris: Women’s Basketball (2016-2020)

• Ingrid Martins: Women’s Tennis (2015-19)

• Savannah McCaskill: Women’s Soccer (2014-17)

• Tomas Peribonio: Men’s Swimming (2015-18)

• Bret Sorin: Men’s Track & Field (1996-99)

🔺 Big Addition. South Carolina men’s basketball completed his staff with the addition of veteran assistant coach Steve Smith. He brings a wealth of experience, spending 13 seasons as an assistant with three different stops in the ACC. He spent that last two seasons at Boston College.

🔺 Welcome To The Show. Former Gamecock TJ Shook has been called up by the Colorado Rockies! He was selected by the Rockies in the Triple A portion of last year’s Rule 5 draft. He went 2-0 with a 2.86 ERA and 29 strikeouts for the Albuquerque Isotopes this season. Shook becomes the 61st Gamecock to answer the call to the Major Leagues.

🔺 For The Stars & Stripes. Incoming Gamecock women’s basketball freshman Kelsi Andrews will represent the United States at the 2026 FIBA U18 Women’s AmeriCup! The tournament is set for June 9-15 in Irapuato, Mexico.
