The Story: Leave No Doubt — You couldn’t keep 'em off the field in Columbia! A potentially defining moment of the 2024 season, Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks got over the hump against a top-10 SEC foe in emphatic fashion. Leaving no doubt, the Garnet & Black were clicking on all phases, with their offensive line leading the way as South Carolina upset No. 10 Texas A&M.

🔺 Hall’s Call. Gamecock outfielder Nathan Hall was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the fifth round of the MLB Draft yesterday! He led the Gamecocks with 38 RBI and 19 multi-hit games last season.

🔺 Twinning. Baseball’s Matthew Becker was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 19th round of the 2025 MLB Draft. The left-handed pitcher had 14 wins, six saves, and 263 strikeouts in his four-year career.

🔺 Viva Las Vegas. Gamecock women’s basketball will play two games in the Players Era Women’s Championship at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas! They’ll play Duke on November 26 at 4:30 p.m. and either Texas or UCLA on November 27 at 8 or 10:30 p.m. The games will air on TNT, truTV, or HBO Max. Tickets will go on sale on July 25 at 1 p.m.
