🔺 Minor Mayhem. The 2026 Minor League Baseball season starts its second half! Let’s check in on some Gamecocks on the Farm:
Triple A
Jonah Bride is hitting .271 with 55 runs scored and nine homers with Round Rock, an affiliate of the Texas Rangers.
Brett Kerry has made 15 starts for Salt Lake, the Los Angeles Angels affiliate. He has 79 strikeouts in 81 innings pitched with three wins.
Will Sanders is 5-2 with a 4.94 ERA and 61 strikeouts for Iowa, the Chicago Cubs affiliate.
TJ Shook is 3-2 with a 3.52 ERA for Albuquerque, Colorado’s Triple-A affiliate.
Double A
James Hicks has compiled four wins and 66 strikeouts in 74.1 innings for Corpus Christi, the affiliate of the Houston Astros.
Jack Mahoney has made 12 starts, earning six wins with a 2.02 ERA for Hartford, the Rockies affiliate. He was named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week in June.
His teammate Cole Messina has scored 30 runs and hit 13 doubles and four home runs.
Ethan Petry has hit 14 home runs in pro ball this season. He is currently playing for Harrisburg, Washington’s Double-A affiliate.
