🔺 Hot Topics. With a new school year just around the corner, South Carolina Athletics Director Jeremiah Donati is sharing what’s on his mind. Among the highlights? An 8% increase in fan attendance, all-time membership numbers in the Gamecock Club, and so much more.

🔺 All-SEC. Three Gamecocks earned spots on the All-SEC team ahead of the upcoming season. QB LaNorris Sellers and edge rusher Dylan Stewart landed on the first team, while defensive back Jalon Kilgore earned a spot on the second team. The media’s preseason poll has the Gamecocks predicted to finish fifth in the conference.

🔺 Red, White, and Blue. South Carolina women’s basketball sophomore Joyce Edwards will head back overseas to don the red, white, and blue. Edwards will suit up for USA Basketball from July 21-27 in Chile for the 2025 FIBA 3×3 Nations League America Conferences. It’ll be the third time this summer that Edwards has played for USA Basketball, and she’ll have another chance to win the gold after she and Team USA took the top spot at the 2025 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup.

🔺 Gamecocks In The NFL. Nick Emmanwori hasn’t played an official down in the NFL for the Seahawks yet, but our guy is already making history. Emmanwori became the first player picked at No. 35 overall to sign a fully guaranteed contract.

Meanwhile, former Gamecock TJ Sanders also inked his deal with the Bills, signing a four-year, $10.645 million contract.
