Now a three year starter, quarterback LaNorris Sellers is back to lead the offense for the Gamecocks in 2026. Hear from the redshirt junior signal caller from SEC Media Days in Tampa.

🔺 Catching Eyes. South Carolina had 16 Gamecocks named to the Shrine Bowl 1000 Watch List! Vicari Swain, Quay’sheed Scott, Judge Collier, Dylan Stewart, Caleb Herring, Tomiwa Durojaiye, Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy, Fred Johnson, Shawn Murphy, Emmanuel Poku, Jacarrius Peak, Joasiah Thompson, LaNorris Sellers, Brady Hunt, Nyck Harbor, and DJ Black were listed as top 1000 all-star game and NFL Draft eligible players in college football.

🔺 Team Effort. Gamecock baseball earned the 2025-26 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award! The award goes to teams that post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2025-26 academic year. South Carolina placed nine student-athletes on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll and 20 on the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.

🔺 Consistency Counts. Gamecock volleyball teams are thriving in the classroom! Beach volleyball has earned the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 11th consecutive year, while volleyball earned the award for the 17th straight season.
