🔺 From The Top. As we enter the 2026-27 athletics season, South Carolina AD Jeremiah Donati looks back at last season and forward to the future. The Gamecocks launched a new apparel partnership with Nike to kick off the year! Other exciting new developments include the hiring of head baseball coach Kevin Schnall and the progress of the Williams-Brice Reimagined project. The department is also celebrating a successful track & field season that included Akala Garrett’s NCAA Championship.

🔺 Preseason Praise. Gamecock edge rusher Dylan Stewart has been named a Walter Camp Preseason First-Team All-American! He previously earned second team preseason honors from Athlon Sports and Phil Steele Publications. He owns 22.5 tackles for loss and 11 sacks as a Gamecock.

🔺 Roll Call. A total of 99 South Carolina student-athletes were named to the 2026 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll! In the 2025-26 academic year, South Carolina ranked second among all SEC schools with 304 student-athletes earning Academic Honor Roll status.
