Every week in the SEC is a battle in the trenches. Between his playing days and coaching career, no one understands that better than Travian Robertson. But all those battles were preparing him for one he never saw coming: the fight for his life.

🔺 Back In Action. The 2026-27 athletics season is officially here! Gamecock women’s soccer kicks things off tonight at 7 p.m. when they host Oregon State. Fans at home can stream the game on SEC Network+. This season will mark head coach Shelley Smith’s 30th overall as a head coach.

🔺 Locked In. The South Carolina women’s basketball SEC schedule is locked in place! The Gamecocks will host Alabama to start the conference slate on New Year’s Eve. The regular-season home slate will conclude with a two-game home stand, hosting LSU and Auburn. They’ll finish the regular season at Georgia before the SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament Mar. 3-7.

🔺 Freaky Good. Three Gamecocks were named to Bruce Feldman’s College Football Freaks List! Senior wide receiver Nyck Harbor sits at the top of the list for the third time in his career. As an underclassman, he was the first back-to-back No. 1 pick on the list. EDGE Dylan Stewart came in at No. 14, while quarterback LaNorris Sellers is the list’s top signal caller at No. 36.
