📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Top-25 Takedown. The 16th-ranked women’s soccer team downed No. 25 Ohio State 1-0 last night in front of 5,800 Gamecock fans! The game-winning goal was scored by freshman Mackenzie Johnson. This was her second game-winner in three games. Tina Tsaousis tied her season-high with four saves in goal.
The Gamecocks will host Miami (Ohio) on Sunday at 1 p.m. on SEC Network+.

🔺 Thriller Thursday. The men’s soccer team kicked off the season with a thrilling road win, beating College of Charleston 3-2. South Carolina scored all three goals in the second half thanks to goals from Andrew Goldsworthy, Mika Habel, and Alexander Stjernegaard. The Gamecocks will play at Clemson on Tuesday.

🔺 Big Additions. A pair of senior transfers look to continue the Gamecock women’s basketball success this season! Ta’Niya Latson is a guard transfer from Florida State who led the nation in scoring last season with 25.2 points per game. Madina Okot is a center who transfers to South Carolina from Mississippi State. She averaged 11.3 points and 9.6 rebounds per game.

🔺 Fall Slate. The South Carolina men’s tennis team announced their 2025 fall schedule, featuring tournaments that could qualify players for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships. The season opens with the ITA All-American Championships and the Carolina Classic, followed by the ITF M15 Winston-Salem and the ITA Carolina Regional.
