The Story: Brotherly Love — Just about every team in the country tries to make their locker room feel like a family, but few truly accomplish it. In Columbia, when Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks preach "family," it goes further than a figurative slogan. For the Kilgores and Sellers, bringing their brotherly love to the collegiate level is a dream come true.

🔺 Lockdown Defense. Women’s soccer player Gracie Falla is the SEC Defensive Player of the Week! She anchored the Gamecock defense in shutout wins over No. 25 Ohio State and Miami (Ohio) last week. She also assisted on the game-winner against the RedHawks.

🔺 Palmetto Series On The Pitch. The men’s soccer team will play at Clemson tonight in the Palmetto Series presented by the South Carolina Education Lottery. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on the ACC Network. Last season, the Gamecocks tied then top-ranked Clemson at Stone Stadium.

🔺 Remember The Name. Women’s golfer Eila Galitsky has been named to the ANNIKA Award Preseason Watch List! The sophomore had an outstanding freshman season with the Gamecocks, earning All-American honors from multiple publications, plus SEC Co-Freshman of the Year. She finished the 2024-25 season with four top-five finishes in six stroke play starts in the spring.

🔺 Frank The Tank. Redshirt senior men’s golfer Frankie Harris has landed on the Haskins Award Preseason Watch List. He led the team with five top-five finishes last season. In June, he earned co-medalist honors at final qualifying for the U.S. Open at Oakmont. At the Open, he missed the cut by just three shots.
