Tailgate Talks: Game Week and Dunta Robinson — It’s finally GAME WEEK! The Gamecocks are just days away from kicking off the 2025 season in Atlanta, and like the rest of us, Pat and Stephen are itching to hear some pads pop! A man who knows all about that is none other than this week’s guest, former Gamecock standout, Dunta Robinson. Buckle up the chinstrap for this one!

The Story: Brotherly Love — Just about every team in the country tries to make their locker room feel like a family, but few truly accomplish it. In Columbia, when Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks preach "family," it goes further than a figurative slogan. For the Kilgores and Sellers, bringing their brotherly love to the collegiate level is a dream come true.

🔺 Big Things Ahead. South Carolina has received approval for a multi-year construction project to reimagine Williams-Brice Stadium. The project, focusing on enhancing the fan experience, increasing premium offerings, and improving student-athlete facilities, will be completed in three phases between 2025 and 2028. Populous and Legends are leading the design and experience enhancements, while local and national construction firms will execute the project.

🔺 Trip To The Upstate. The 12th-ranked women’s soccer team travels to Clemson for the Palmetto Series presented by the South Carolina Education Lottery! Things will kick off tonight at 7 p.m. on ACCNX. The Gamecocks are 4-0-0 so far, facing a 1-1-1 Clemson team. South Carolina’s Gracie Falla was named this week’s SEC Defensive Player of the Week.

🔺 Fall Ball. South Carolina softball will play nine exhibition games this fall! They’ll face six opponents before the intrasquad three-game Garnet & Black World Series in late October. South Carolina will host four opponents and play games at Coastal Carolina and College of Charleston.
