🔺 All Eyes. South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers was named to the Maxwell Award Watch List! Sellers has played in 27 games in Garnet & Black, throwing for 5,057 yards and 33 touchdowns and rushing for 995 yards and 13 touchdowns. The Maxwell Award is presented annually to the most outstanding player in college football.

🔺 Catching Up. Former South Carolina first baseman Jeff Jones will be inducted into the University of South Carolina Association of Lettermen’s Athletics Hall of Fame in November. Jones, who played for the Gamecocks in 2009-10, fondly remembers his time in Columbia and the passionate fan base. After his baseball career, he transitioned to the oil and gas business before co-owning a printing company with his brother.
