Every week in the SEC is a battle in the trenches. Between his playing days and coaching career, no one understands that better than Travian Robertson. But all those battles were preparing him for one he never saw coming: the fight for his life.

🔺 Preseason Praise. South Carolina football’s Dylan Stewart and Vacari Swain were named to The Sporting News 2026 Preseason All-America team! Both Gamecocks earned second team honors with Stewart on the defensive line and Swain as a punt returner.

🔺 Holiday Hoops. South Carolina men’s basketball learned its opponents at the Acrisure Series during Thanksgiving week in Palm Springs, California! The Gamecocks will play Southern California on Nov. 25 at 4:30 p.m. ET. They’ll go on to play Arizona State on Thanksgiving Day at 2 p.m. ET. Both games will air on CBS Sports Network.

🔺 Record Year. South Carolina Athletics and the Gamecock Club announced a record-breaking fundraising year, generating more than $244 million during the 2025-26 fiscal year! The $244 million is a 128% increase over last year’s then-record $107 million.
