He's going into his fifth season in Columbia, and now Peyton Williams is ready to help lead the defensive backs in 2026. He joins us in the film room with his position coach, Torrian Gray, to look back on his growth in the Garnet & Black.

🔺 Matchups Are Set. Details of the 2026 Players Era Women’s Basketball Showcase are here! The two-day event at Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandala Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas features six elite teams. South Carolina will take on UCLA on Dec. 19 at 8:30 p.m. ET. Then, they’ll play Notre Dame on Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m. ET. Both games will air on ESPN. Tickets go on sale this Thursday at 1 p.m.

🔺 New Addition. South Carolina women’s basketball has signed Brooke Quarles Daniels for the upcoming season. She’s a guard who transfers from Michigan, where she earned Big Ten All-Defensive honors last season.

🔺 The Challengers. South Carolina volleyball hits the road for the first time this season! They’ll play at Michigan in the Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge tonight at 6:30 p.m. on B1G Network. The Gamecocks are coming off a 3-0 weekend in Columbia.

🔺 World Traveler. Gamecock junior linebacker Justin Okoronkwo is looking to be one of the best linebackers in the nation. Originally from Munich, Germany, Okoronkwo played club football before transitioning to the U.S. and adjusting to the faster pace and more complex playbook of college football. Off the field, he is multilingual operation and supply chain management major with aspirations of traveling the world.

🔺 Perfect Pair. Two Gamecock women’s golfers were named Golf Channel Preseason All-Americans! Eila Galitsky earned Second Team honors, while Amelia Harris earned Honorable Mention.
