With over 275 yards on the ground, the rushing attack paved the way for a dominate start to the 2026 season. Led by Matthew Fuller, the Gamecocks' running back room shined against Kent State. Fuller and his position coach, Stan Drayton, take us through the film to see what made Carolina's ground game so successful.

🔺 Weathered The Storm. South Carolina football fought through delays and heavy rain to beat Towson 45-9 on Saturday. Vicari Swain had two punt return touchdowns to break the South Carolina career record with five. He also blocked an extra point after Towson’s lone touchdown of the game. Running back Matt Fuller rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown, while quarterback LaNorris Sellers rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown. The Gamecocks will host Mississippi State next.

🔺 Staying Hot. No. 6 South Carolina men’s soccer downed UNCG 1-0 on Friday night. Noah Scheidweiler recorded four saves in goal. South Carolina scored through an own goal in the 7th minute on a corner from Mika Habel. The Gamecocks play at Old Dominion on Friday.

🔺 Palmetto Pride. South Carolina volleyball beat Clemson 3-1 on Friday, putting the Gamecocks ahead 3-0 in the Palmetto Series this season. The Gamecocks had a season high 61 kills and 69 digs. They went on to defeat Wofford 3-1 on Saturday, led by Ava Leahy for the second-straight match. South Carolina will play at ETSU tomorrow at 6 p.m.

🔺 Opening Weekend. Gamecock women’s tennis opened the fall season at the Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic. Jana Stojanova and Francie Pate each claimed singles titles.
