With over 275 yards on the ground, the rushing attack paved the way for a dominate start to the 2026 season. Led by Matthew Fuller, the Gamecocks' running back room shined against Kent State. Fuller and his position coach, Stan Drayton, take us through the film to see what made Carolina's ground game so successful.

🔺 Special Player. Gamecock punt returner Vicari Swain was named the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week. He scored two touchdowns off punt returns in Saturday’s win over Towson. He also broke the South Carolina school record for most career punt return touchdowns.

🔺 Top Of The World. Former Gamecock Aliyah Boston helped the United States win its fifth-straight gold medal at the FIBA Women’s World Cup. Team USA beat France 97-79 in the title game. This marks Boston’s sixth international gold medal.

🔺 Crown Her. Gamecock women’s soccer senior Reese Slater has been named the SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week! She helped the Gamecocks to a top-25 win over No. 23 Florida, scoring the game-winner in the 39th minute.

🔺 On The Road Again. Gamecock volleyball remains on the road this week! They’ll play at ETSU tonight at 6 p.m. on ESPN+. South Carolina has won their last two games, while ETSU is coming off a loss to Wake Forest.

🔺 Late Start, Strong Finish. South Carolina cross country’s Ella Demmerle joined the team after impressing Coach Moreaux with her performances at unattached meets. Despite starting competitive running late, Demmerle’s determination and past swimming experience fueled her success. Off the track, she’s a nursing major on the pre-med track, wanting to become a physician, possibly an OBGYN or surgeon.
