🔺 Last Men Standing. No. 4 South Carolina men’s soccer rallied past No. 13 Old Dominion, 2-1, in a battle of the nation’s final two unbeaten and untied teams. Cristian Ortiz and Loïc Sany Kong scored 2:42 apart in the second half, while Daniel Lang earned the assist on both goals. The Gamecocks now stand as Division I’s only undefeated, untied team. Senior Night is tomorrow when College of Charleston visits Stone Stadium at 7 p.m.

🔺 Seven Straight. No. 16 South Carolina women’s soccer won 3-1 at LSU behind two penalty goals from Ava Tutas and a long-range game-winner from Reese Slater. The Gamecocks are now 8-1 and 2-0 in the SEC.

🔺 On To Tuscaloosa. South Carolina football built a 16-0 lead Saturday but ultimately fell to Mississippi State 41-34. LaNorris Sellers passed for 282 yards and two touchdowns, and Malik Orson connected from a career-long 52 yards. The Gamecocks visit No. 10 Alabama on Saturday at 7 p.m.

🔺 Sweep Secured. Gamecock volleyball closed nonconference play with a 3-0 sweeping victory over Virginia Tech that included a dominant 25-10 opening set. South Carolina begins SEC action Wednesday at Georgia.

🔺 Podium Placement. South Carolina cross country placed second at the Adidas XC Challenge in Raleigh, North Carolina. Louise Bailly led the Gamecocks with a runner-up finish, recording the sixth fastest 5K mark in South Carolina history.
