🔺 First & Gold. South Carolina is partnering with Curing Kids Cancer for the 2025 First & Gold Campaign, raising awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research. The campaign culminates on Sept. 27th with the Gamecocks’ First & Gold Childhood Cancer Awareness Game against Kentucky. They’ll help raise awareness by wearing special First & Gold gear and spreading the message of hope and support for families affected by pediatric cancer.

🔺 Kings & Queens. The South Carolina men’s soccer team, currently 5-3-1, will close out the non-conference schedule tonight! They’ll host Queens University Charlotte at 7 p.m. on ESPN+. The Gamecocks are coming off a 2-2 draw with Georgia State.

🔺 Trading Cleats For Robes. Former Gamecock women’s soccer player Lauren Chang is trading her cleats for robes as she is pursuing a law degree at the University of Oxford after a successful career playing abroad. She looks to combine her passion for soccer with a career in corporate law, potentially working for a football club or a major league. Chang’s experience as a student-athlete instilled in her a strong work ethic and determination, which she believes will serve her well in her academic and professional pursuits.
