🔺 Twice As Nice. Gamecock men’s soccer’s Loïc Sany Kong was named the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season after supplying the game-winning goal at No. 13 Old Dominion. His team-leading fourth goal helped South Carolina improve to 7-0 with its fourth victory over a ranked opponent.

🔺 Fell Short. The top-ranked Gamecock men’s soccer team suffered its first loss of the season last night. South Carolina fell 2-1 to the College of Charleston. Alejandro Velazquez-Lopez scored the lone Gamecock goal of the night. They’ll host James Madison on Sunday.

🔺 Conference Call. Volleyball opens SEC play tonight at Georgia after a strong non-conference start. First serve from Athens is set for 7 p.m. on SEC Network.
