Tailgate Talks: Open Mic Tailgate - It’s a good old-fashioned football tailgate in its truest form. Stephen Garcia and Patrick DiMarco do something they never got to do as athletes: set up the tent, eat, drink, and talk ball with fans. It’s an open-mic edition of Tailgate Talks!

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Killin’ It. Gamecock volleyball’s Riley Whitesides was named the SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week! She hit .448 with 36 kills last week with wins over East Carolina and Clemson. She now sits in eighth place in the South Carolina record book with 1,180 career kills. The Gamecocks will host Mississippi State on Friday at 7 p.m.

🔺 Kings On Top. The men’s soccer team defeated Queens University Charlotte, 3-0! The Gamecocks had 20 shots and nine on goal. Camden Kowalski, Harrison Myring, and Ethan Ballek scored the Gamecock goals. They’ll hit the road to Coastal Carolina on Saturday.

🔺 Third Birds. The men’s golf team finished in third place at The Tindall with a -17 score! Frankie Harris was the top Gamecock, finishing fourth individually at 9-under. Zach Adams tied for 14th and Brock Blais tied for 19th. They’ll take a few weeks off before the Everett Buick GMC Classic.
