Make it four-straight over Kentucky for Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks! Beamer Ball was alive and well with two defensive touchdowns in a decisive 35-13 win under the lights in Willy-B.

🔺 Bounced Back. South Carolina football defeated Kentucky 35-13, with the Gamecocks’ defense scoring two touchdowns on turnovers. Rashul Faison scored two rushing touchdowns. The Gamecocks will face No. 4 LSU after a bye week.

🔺 Rally Caps Helmets. The fourth-ranked equestrian team won four-straight points in the second half to upset No. 2 SMU 10-9 in Friday’s season opener. Mattie McNeill scored a career-high 72 in Reining to give her the win by half a point, the Gamecocks’ decisive 10th point to win. South Carolina took both jumping seat MOPs with Natalie Jayne taking the honor on Fences and Sarah Rabb claiming it on flat.

🔺 Boom Goes The Gamecocks. The 12th-ranked women’s soccer team shut out Oklahoma 2-0 to remain undefeated in SEC play. Corner kicks turned into goals to power the Gamecocks to the win. Katie Shea Collins and Taylor Bloom were responsible for South Carolina’s goals.

🔺 Came In Clutch. Gamecock men’s soccer defeated James Madison 1-0 thanks to Mika Habel’s goal in the final minutes! They outshot the Dukes 14-to-3 overall and 6-to-1 in shots on goal. The Gamecocks will host UCF on Saturday.
