Hand In The Dirt. Trey Knox was a big addition to the tight end room in the offseason. What does he bring to the South Carolina offense? It’s all in this week’s new episode of Gamecock Talk!

🔼 Fall Ball. What better way to combat the bye week blues than with some fall ball? The Gamecocks took the diamond yesterday to open fall practice and will scrimmage on Thursday at 3:45pm ET and Friday at 3:00pm ET. The guys are slated to go six innings on Thursday and eight on Friday; both scrimmages are free and open to the public. We’ll see you there!
🔼 From Star To Star. Aliyah Boston shared a message after winning WNBA Rookie of the Year. And in case you missed it, the Indiana Pacers’ Myles Turner and Tyrese Haliburton each had a special message for Aliyah.
🔼 In The Stands. Game time is set for South Carolina’s clash with Florida at Williams-Brice. The Gamecocks and Gators will get underway at 3:30pm ET on October 14 in front of a sold-out crowd as we celebrate Homecoming in Columbia.
🔼 A Coach. Khadijah Sessions came home to Columbia this offseason, and a GamecockCentral in-depth feature on Sessions highlights why she’s been able to make such an impact in such a short time — and how Coach Staley’s coaching tree is growing new branches.
“Khadijah is a coach,” Staley said. “She’s a point guard. When you play the point guard position. That’s what you do. You’re a point guard for life. And it’s been seamless with her. I was thinking about Khadijah well before we had an opening. And when we had an opening an opportunity, I’m like let’s go.”
