Laeticia Amihere has competed on some of the biggest stages in the world. The former South Carolina women's basketball player not only won a national championship for the Gamecocks but also played on the Canadian national team and got selected in the first round of the WNBA Draft. Even with all of those incredible accomplishments, it's her setbacks that have made her who she is.

🔼 Coming Home. We can’t wait to be back in Williams-Brice! The Gamecocks come home in Week 10 to face Jacksonville State. The SEC announced today that the November 4 clash will kick at 12:00pm ET on ESPNU. We’ll see you there!

🔼 Fall Ball. The Gamecocks are back in Founders Park this week to get a few more scrimmages under their belt! Scrimmages are free and open to the public so come on out this afternoon at 3:45pm ET, Friday at 3:45pm ET, or Saturday at 4:00pm ET to enjoy a little autumn weather on the diamond!

🔼 Golden Goalie. Heather Hinz is your SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week! The South Carolina goalie tallied two shutouts this week, giving her 30 for her career, good for third place all-time in Gamecock women’s soccer history. It’s the third time in Hinz’s career she earned Player of the Week honors!
