Goal of a Lifetime. 1988 Goalkeeper of the Year, All-American, and now his legacy is immortalized with a jersey retirement. Charlie Arndt was a huge part of the historic 1987 Gamecock men’s soccer team that finished with the second-best record in program history and still holds the school's single-season and career record for goals against average. Be a part of the jersey retirement ceremony with Arndt as he takes us back to a special time in the program's history.

🔼 Loving It. Sarah Hamner, ranked No. 25 in the nation, is killing it at the ITA All-American Championships! The junior superstar moved on to Round 3, defeating No. 90 Kristina Novak of Oklahoma State 6-1, 6-1 before advancing again to the Main Draw after taking down No. 99 Malaika Rapolu of Texas, 6-4, 6-3.
🔼 He’s Golden. Spencer Rattler is one of the Top 25 for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award! Rattler’s had a scorching-hot start to the season, completing 119-of-163 passes (73 pct.) for 1,411 yards with seven touchdowns and three interceptions through five games.
🔼 The Big Leagues. The MLB regular season is officially in the books as postseason play got underway last night. 🔼 Third Time’s The Charm. Judy Kosgei’s streak of dominance continued as she earned her third SEC weekly award this week! Kosgei earned SEC Women’s Freshman Runner of the Week honors after breaking yet another Gamecock record, this time in the 6K. She’s the first cross country runner in South Carolina history to win three SEC weekly awards in a single season and over the span of their career.
🔼 Gamecocks In The NFL. It’s that time! Let’s see how our Gamecocks fared in the pros during Week 4.
Ernest Jones continued his tear through opposing offenses, tallying a team-high 10 tackles and a sack, while Jadeveon Clowney added two tackles and a tackle for a loss for the Ravens. DJ Wonnum delivered a stand-out performance for the Vikings, headlined by a 51-yard fumble recovery for a score in addition to his six tackles, a sack, and a deflected pass.
For Green Bay, Kingsley Enagbare added five tackles, while Keisean Nixon finished with two tackles and five kickoff returns for 34 yards. Also out of the NFC North, rookie Zacch Pickens notched his first NFL sack against the Broncos.
