🔼 A National Star. Gamecock women’s basketball’s hot start continued this week with Kamilla Cardoso winning SEC Player of the Week honors! Our superstar was also one of five Ann Meyers-Drysdale National Players of the Week. Cardoso led the Gamecocks in scoring as South Carolina knocked off two top-15 opponents over the span of a week.

🔼 Down In History. Did you head to Paris with the Gamecocks or just want to remember South Carolina’s 100+ point win over Notre Dame in the City of Lights? 🔼 Gamecocks In The NFL. It’s that time! We’re back with your Week 10 Gamecocks in the NFL round-up and we’re diving in with Jalen Brooks, who made an impact with the Cowboys this week, hauling in four catches for 39 yards. Jadeveon Clowney made his presence felt in the way only Jadeveon Clowney can: with six tackles, two for a loss, two sacks, and four QB hurries for the Ravens.

Rico Dowdle sprung loose for 79 yards and a score against the Giants, while Stephon Gilmore posted a tackle and two passes defended. Javon Kinlaw made a tackle and defended a pass in San Francisco’s win over the Jaguars, while Deebo Samuel caught four passes for 30 yards and added a rushing touchdown in the game. Finally, D.J. Wonnum posted a sack, a QB hurry, and four tackles as Minnesota beat New Orleans.

🔼 Career Best. What’s better than one SEC Player of the Week in Columbia? Two! Kiune Fletcher is your SEC Offensive Player of the Week for Gamecock volleyball! It’s the first time the senior has earned a weekly conference award. She posted a highlight-reel-worthy week with 51 kills while hitting .481 in two matches.
