🔼 Keep Your Eyes On ‘Em. We’ve got more accolades pouring in for Kamilla Cardoso and Te-Hina Paopao! Both superstars landed on the John R. Wooden Award Preseason Top 50 Watch List for women’s college basketball. Cardoso also earned a spot on the Naismith Trophy Watch List, which means her name is on all three national player of the year watch lists.
🔼 Ranked And Ready. The ITA End-of-Fall rankings are in, and South Carolina is the only school in the entire country with two players ranked in the Top 6! Congratulations to Sarah Hamner at No. 4, Ayana Akli at No. 6, and Shahar Biran at No. 76 in the singles rankings. Hamner and Akli are also ranked No. 24 in the nation in doubles. What a fall season!
🔼 Start The Sandstorm. It’s going to be a Sandstorm unlike any other as Darude is set to perform at Williams-Brice Stadium for the first time this weekend. In partnership with Ariat and Harrison’s, Darude will play a one-hour DJ set in Gamecock Village at 4:15pm on Saturday, then he’ll be the celebrity starter for the game.
