🔼 Keep Watch. Kamilla Cardoso is on the 2024 Wade Trophy Preseason Watch List! Cardoso posted a dominant season last year, finishing third in the nation in offensive rebounding percentage and seventh in total rebounding percentage, while averaging almost 10 points per game in 18 minutes of playing time. The Wade Trophy is the oldest and most prestigious national Player of the Year award in women's college hoops.
🔼 Moving On. Sarah Hamner and Ayana Akli are moving on to the quarterfinals of the ITA National Fall Championships! Both Gamecocks posted straight-set wins yesterday, with No. 25 Hamner taking down No. 23 Savannah Broadus of Pepperdine, and No. 7 Akli beating No. 99 Malaika Rapolu of Texas. 🔼 On Par. Our Gamecocks are racking up the conference awards this season! Redshirt sophomore transfer Frankie Harris was named SEC Golfer of the Week after his first career win at the Daniel Island Intercollegiate. Harris shot seven under par in the tournament with 11 birdies in 54 holes. The Gamecocks will be back on the green in February at the Puerto Rico Classic.
