Gamecock men’s basketball is 8-1 and taking the hard court by storm in Year 2 of the Lamont Paris era. We’ve got your backstage pass for every moment, big and small, as South Carolina changes expectations one day at a time. Each chapter of the new season-long docuseries, “Changing Expectations: Inside South Carolina Men’s Basketball,” will tell the story of the season through the eyes of the players and coaches.

Chapter 1 - “The Slept-On State” - premieres on December 14 and will take fans along for the ride for the Gamecocks’ 7-0 start which featured season-defining wins over Notre Dame and Virginia Tech.

🔼 Cruising to 9-0. Your No. 1 Gamecock women’s hoops team took down No. 11 Utah yesterday afternoon, 78-69, in Connecticut. Kamilla Cardoso posted 17 for the Gamecocks, who got 15 points from Te-Hina Paopao and 11 points each from Chloe Kitts and MiLaysia Fulwiley. 🔼 Held On. Speaking of Gamecock men’s basketball, the squad is now an incredible 8-1 on the season, knocking off East Carolina, 68-62, behind 15 points each from Meechie Johnson and Myles Stute. Johnson and Stute shot 58.8 percent from the field with a combined four shots made from beyond the arc. It’s the eighth time this season that Meechie has posted double figures and the sixth for Stute.

Xavier Legette turned in some of the most memorable moments in recent South Carolina football history, from his kick-off return touchdown against Texas A&M to his two house calls against Mississippi State to a stunning 1,255 receiving yards in 2023. 247sports takes a look back at the best moments of Xavier Legette’s career with the Gamecocks.

🔼 Zooming In. What a start for the Tim Hall era of Gamecock Track & Field! South Carolina scored nine wins at the Clemson Opener with 12 Top-25 NCAA marks. Freshman sprinter JaMeesia Ford turned in a jaw-dropping performance, posting the second-fastest time in the 300-meter in NCAA history, clocking in at 35.83, .03 seconds off the record.
