🔼 10-0. Your Gamecock women’s basketball team is now a perfect 10-0 to start the season after a 99-29 win over Presbyterian at Colonial Life Arena on Saturday afternoon. All 10 players who checked into the game for South Carolina tallied at least one point with MiLaysia Fulwiley leading the way with 18. Tessa Johnson, Kamilla Cardoso, Bree Hall, Ashlyn Watkins, and Sakima Walker all scored in double digits, while Chloe Kitts posted a double-double. 🔼 Legends In Columbia. Two Gamecocks landed in the Penn Relays Wall of Fame. Garnet & Black Track & Field legends Shalona Solomon and Terrence Trammell are now the second and third Gamecocks ever inducted into the Wall of Fame! Solomon earned three NCAA Championships, five SEC titles, and 11 All-America honors, while Trammell won a Gamecock-best six national championships, eight SEC titles, and 13 All-America honors.

🔼 Giving Back. We love what Spencer Rattler had to say this weekend about the fans in South Carolina as he continued to give back to the local Columbia community.

🔼 Protecting It. B.J. Mack and Meechie Johnson led the Gamecocks in scoring as South Carolina climbed to 9-1 for the sixth time in program history. South Carolina beat Charleston Southern, 73-69, behind 16 points from Mack and 15 from Johnson. The Gamecocks’ trend of protecting the ball continued in the win as South Carolina committed only six turnovers, their second-fewest in a game this season. South Carolina has now turned it over less than 10 times in six of 10 games this season.
