🔼 213 In A Row. The new women’s college basketball AP Poll is here, and South Carolina held a firm grip on its No. 1 ranking. This marks the 69th time that the Gamecocks have earned the top spot in the AP Poll, which is good for fourth-best in the history of the poll. South Carolina also holds the longest active streak of weeks in the AP Top 10 with 82 consecutive Top 10 rankings and 213 straight appearances in the AP Poll.

🔼 On The Road. And speaking of Gamecock women’s basketball, the squad will hit the court for its last pre-holiday game this evening as they travel to play former Gamecock assistant coach Fred Chmiel and the Bowling Green Falcons. Check out the full pre-game preview here.

🔼 An Opening Dinner. Whit Merrifield will headline the 2024 First Pitch Banquet for the Garnet & Black. In tandem with the Gamecock Dugout Club, South Carolina baseball will host the banquet on February 3 at 6 p.m. at Seawell’s. More details on reserving your spot here!

🔼 Student-Athletes. Congratulations are in order for Heather Hinz and Catherine Barry, who were both named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America first team yesterday!

While we’re on the topic of our incredible student-athletes, 25 Gamecocks across nine different sports earned their undergraduate degrees yesterday at Colonial Life Arena. Join us in celebrating these amazing Gamecocks!

🔼 Notable Performances. Six Gamecocks landed on Phil Steele’s post-season teams with Xavier Legette and Debo Williams leading the way. Legette was named a first-team All-SEC selection and a third-team All-American, while Williams also earned All-SEC first-team honors and was named an honorable mention All-American. Hunter Rogers, Trey Knox, T.J. Sanders, and Marcellas Dial also earned accolades from Steele.
