Introducing: “Changing Expectations: Inside South Carolina Men’s Basketball,” a new Gamecocks+ docuseries that takes fans inside Year 2 of Lamont Paris’ program.

Premiering this month, “Changing Expectations: Inside South Carolina Men’s Basketball” is the latest season-long docuseries from Gamecocks+ that will provide fans with even greater access while telling the story of Coach Paris’ program.

Each chapter of the series will tell the story of the season through the players on the team, allowing fans to better get to know the student-athletes on and off the court while chronicling the 2023-24 season.

Chapter 1 - “The Slept-On State” - premieres on December 14 and will take fans along for the ride for the Gamecocks’ 7-0 start which featured wins over Notre Dame and Virginia Tech.

🔼 Mark Your Calendars. Are you ready to get back to the field? The non-conference slate for Gamecock softball is in, and it’s going to be a great 2024! South Carolina will play 31 non-conference games, including three tournaments in Columbia. The season will open at home with the Carolina Classic, featuring battles against Jacksonville State, UNCG, and Virginia, and a spring trip to Mexico for the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge. 🔼 Best Of The Month. Emma Lane is the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Rider of the Month in Reining! It’s the first time the senior has earned a Rider of the Month award in the Garnet & Black. Lane posted an incredible November in the saddle, beating two ranked opponents and earning back-to-back MOPs. The Equestrian team will be back at it come February 3.

🔼 Young Stars. Two South Carolina freshmen earned spots on the SEC Coaches All-Freshman Team! Offensive lineman Trovon Baugh and defensive back Jalon Kilgore both earned recognition from the conference’s coaches for their standout performances on the field this season.

🔼 A New Era. It’s time for the Tim Hall Era to begin for South Carolina Track & Field! The Gamecocks are on the road for the Clemson Opener, which gets underway today at 10AM ET. You can follow along with live stats here, or watch on the ACC Network Extra. More info on events and start times here.
