Changing Expectations: Chapter 4: A New Era -- Gamecock men’s hoops is gearing up for a big week at home. Get caught up on all of the behind-the-scenes action with the latest chapter of Changing Expectations.

Caught at a pivotal point in the season, how would Lamont Paris and his team respond after a home loss? How about a wire-to-wire win at Arkansas and a clobbering of the No. 6 Kentucky Wildcats? Respect 'em or don't, but either way, this team isn't going anywhere. It's a new era of South Carolina basketball.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 21-0. Gamecock women’s basketball is now 21-0 after knocking off Ole Miss, 85-56, at Colonial Life Arena yesterday afternoon. 11 different Gamecocks found the scoresheet, with Kamilla Cardoso leading the way with 17 points. MiLaysia Fulwiley (14), Te-Hina Paopao (11), Ashlyn Watkins (11), Bree Hall (10), and Sania Feagin (10) all scored in double figures, while Raven Johnson (5), Tessa Johnson (3), Chloe Kitts (2), Sakima Walker (1), and Sahnya Jah (1) all tallied points on the afternoon.

On top of it all, Coach Staley showed up in an epic fit.

The Gamecocks are back on the court on Thursday, hosting Missouri at 7:00pm ET.

🔼 MVP. Spencer Rattler wrapped up the Senior Bowl over the weekend, and he did it with high praise. A day after Rattler earned Top Quarterback on the American team honors as voted on by his Senior Bowl defensive teammates, he won MVP of the Senior Bowl. Next stop? The NFL Combine.

🔼 Whiteout. Heading to Colonial Life Arena tomorrow night to see Gamecock men’s basketball in action? Wear white!

And speaking of Gamecock men’s hoops, the squad took down Georgia, 72-62, on Saturday afternoon behind hot shooting from Collin Murray-Boyles (16 points) and Josh Gray (15 points). Meechie Johnson added 11 and Ta’Lon Cooper posted 10 as the squad extended its winning streak to five straight games. South Carolina is now 15-0 on the season when scoring at least 70 points.

🔼 We Win, We Dance. South Carolina is taking down Top-5 teams left and right! Gamecock Equestrian joined in on the fun over the weekend with an upset of No. 4 Auburn in the final ride. It marks the first time the Gamecocks have beaten the Tigers since 2015. Here’s how it all went down.

After the win, head coach Boo Major busted out “we win, we dance” moves, and we can’t get enough.
