With the ranking, South Carolina becomes the fourth SEC school to have its men’s and women’s basketball programs ranked in the AP Poll at the same time with at least one of those teams holding the No. 1 spot.

🔼 On Par. Another day, another Top-5 upset for the Gamecocks! This time, the South Carolina women’s golf team got in on the action as your sixth-ranked Gamecocks took down No. 1 Wake Forest in the semifinals of the Therese Hession Regional Team Challenge. Weather in Southern California canceled the tournament’s final round, and the Gamecocks will bring back the title as they hold the tiebreaker in total matches and holes won!

🔼 Top Spot. And speaking of Gamecocks on the green, Nathan Franks and Rafe Reynolds finished first and second at the Thomas Sharkey Individuals Collegiate, giving Franks his first career win in the Garnet & Black for South Carolina men’s golf. Franks posted a 204, good for 12 under par, to beat Reynolds. The spring season gets underway for Gamecock men’s golf beginning Sunday, February 11, at the Puerto Rico Classic.
