Changing Expectations: Chapter 7: It was a historic season for South Carolina men’s basketball. After finishing with the most regular season wins in program history and making it to the Big Dance for the first time since 2017, it’s safe to say expectations have changed in Columbia.

🔼 Top 3. South Carolina softball’s Denver Bryant landed on SportsCenter’s Top 10 plays at No. 3 with this epic moment that helped catapult the Gamecocks to a 12-inning win over Clemson on Wednesday night. No. 23 South Carolina knocked off No. 11 Clemson to pick up a point in the Palmetto Series Presented by the South Carolina Education Lottery.

🔼 Breaking Out. GG Jackson is killing it in the NBA! The former Gamecock set a new career-high on Wednesday night, scoring 35 in Memphis’ loss to Golden State. Jackson shot 11-of-19 from the field, going 7-for-14 from downtown. He added five boards and three assists in the dominating effort. It’s the second time he’s scored 30+ during his rookie NBA campaign. Jackson and the Grizzlies are back on the court tonight to take on the Spurs.

🔼 In The Saddle. Tierney Horton is your SEC Horsemanship Co-Rider of the Month! It’s the second time Horton has earned a conference award during her time in the Garnet & Black. The junior posted a 17-point win on March 1 against South Dakota State. Next up for South Carolina equestrian is a trip to College Station for the SEC Championships on March 29.

🔼 Rotate In. South Carolina baseball will open its home conference slate tonight, hosting Vanderbilt in a three-game series. Tonight’s game gets underway from Founders Park at 7:00pm ET with Eli Jones on the mound. Dylan Eskew is expected to get the nod for Saturday’s 4:00pm ET clash with the Commodores, while Sunday’s starting pitcher is TBA. We’ll see you on the diamond tonight!
