Coach Dawn Staley earned SEC Coach of the Year honors, while Kamilla Cardoso claimed SEC Defensive Player of the Year. Cardoso also earned a spot on the All-SEC First Team and the All-Defensive Team, while Raven Johnson, Te-Hina Paopao, and Ashlyn Watkins landed on the All-SEC Second Team. MiLaysia Fulwiley closed out the awards with a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team.

Talmadge LeCroy brought the offensive firepower with three hits, three runs, and one walk, while Dylan Brewer, Ethan Petry, Cole Messina, and Will Tippett accounted for the remaining Gamecock runs. Parker Marlatt picked up the win on the mound for the Gamecocks. They’ll be back at Founders Park this afternoon at 3:00pm ET to take on Davidson.
