🔼 A New Kind Of Pitch. Michael Roth is one of the best pitchers in South Carolina baseball history with a key role in South Carolina’s back-to-back College World Series wins in 2010 and 2011. After a stint in Major League Baseball with the Los Angeles Angels, Roth’s journey has taken him from throwing pitches on the mound to making pitches in a whole new way.

🔼 Top 25. Gamecock softball is opening up its SEC slate this weekend with a Top-25 match-up. No. 22 South Carolina will take on No. 17 Texas A&M in a three-game road battle. The first game gets underway today at 7:00pm ET on the SEC Network+.

🔼 Woof, Woof. Bring your furry friends out to Carolina Softball Stadium at Beckham Field! South Carolina softball is hosting its first-ever Bark in the Park on March 27. All dogs must be signed up in advance to attend. More details here.

🔼 I Believe It. Tennessee’s Rick Barnes has a clear candidate in mind for NCAA D1 men’s basketball’s National Coach of the Year:

“The job that Lamont has done here is amazing,” he said. “The turnaround — for them to go into the last game of the season with a chance to play for an SEC regular season title speaks volumes. He has terrific players but what he’s done is something he should be commended for. I told him this and I believe it. If I had a vote I’d vote him for National Coach of the Year because I can’t imagine the SEC being any better than it is this year. For him to do what he did is remarkable.”
