🔼 To The Final Four. South Carolina women’s hoops is heading back to the Final Four for the fourth straight season! Here are our favorite moments from the win:

Are you ready to head to Ohio with our squad? Check out ticket packages here!

🔼 How Sweep It Is. The No. 22 South Carolina softball team swept SEC foe Ole Miss in three straight games this weekend. Our squad won 2-0 on Friday, then brought home an 8-3 win on Saturday afternoon that featured Kianna Jones bringing the firepower with three RBIs and two homers. On Sunday, the Gamecocks posted their second shutout of the series with a 4-0 win.

Combined across all three games, South Carolina posted two shutouts, four homers, and six double plays. We’re loving this SportsCenter Top-10-worthy catch from Marissa Gonzalez yesterday!

🔼 Double Sweep. Softball wasn’t the only South Carolina squad to post a sweep yesterday. The 18th-ranked women’s tennis team dominated Mississippi State on Senior Day. Three South Carolina seniors were honored yesterday: Ayana Akli, Shahar Biran, and Elise Mills, and all three would go on to win as the Gamecocks picked up all seven points for the sweep!

🔼 Finale Win. Gamecock baseball used a five-run seventh inning to catapult themselves to a come-from-behind 9-8 win in the series finale against Alabama on the road on Saturday afternoon.

South Carolina found its offense from familiar places: Dylan Brewer belted a two-run homer to open the scoring for the Gamecocks in the fifth, Kennedy Jones added an RBI double in the following inning, Cole Messina hit an RBI double in the seventh, Ethan Petry doubled in a pair, and Gavin Casas added an RBI single. Petry’s streak of consecutive games reaching base is now at 38, while Parker Noland has reached in 15 straight games.

🔼 Lucky Number 7. When you’re looking for Nick Emmanwori on the field this season, look for No. 7. The defensive back will no longer suit up as No. 21 but instead as No. 7, and he talked about why he was so eager to grab that number — and what the history of No. 7 in Columbia means.

🔼 Relayed The Message. The 2024 Pepsi Florida Relays wrapped up on Saturday, and South Carolina women’s relay teams earned the spotlight. The women earned wins in two different relays with Jayla Jamison, Cynteria James, Zaya Akins, and JaMeesia Ford picking up the victory in the 4×100m relay, and Aalliyah Francis, Jayla Jamison, Sylvia Chelangat, and JaMeesia Ford winning the 4×400m relay. Both squads posted NCAA-leading times in the victories.

Meanwhile, Judy Kosgei set a new program record in the women’s 800m with a time of 2:01.66 and a third-place overall finish. With the time, Kosgei owns both the indoor and outdoor program records in the 800m. Full results here.
