A welcome home party fit for a queen -- or maybe a whole team of them! Hear from some of the most passionate Gamecock fans who couldn't wait to celebrate Dawn Staley and her team after their perfect season.

🔼 Looking Ahead. On Monday, Raven Johnson talked about a repeat tour in 2025, and ESPN’s Charlie Creme is right there with her. Creme released his Way-Too-Early Top 25 for next season, and the reigning champs top the list:

“A third consecutive undefeated regular season might be too much to ask, but that doesn’t mean South Carolina won’t be the favorite. At this point, Kamilla Cardoso is the only player set to leave. Her inside dominance will be missed, but the Gamecocks won five games this season without her,” Creme wrote.

“The deep backcourt of Raven Johnson, Bree Hall, Te-Hina Paopao, MiLaysia Fulwiley and Tessa Johnson looks even better heading into the 2024-25 season. Sania Feagin, Ashlyn Watkins and Chloe Kitts should be ready to take over the frontcourt and will welcome 6-foot-2 Joyce Edwards, the No. 2-rated recruit in the country, according to HoopGurlz.”

🔼 Record Breakers. ICYMI, the stats are in, and records shattered everywhere! South Carolina’s championship marked the most-watched women’s college basketball game in the sport’s history. 18.7 million people — an 89% increase from last year’s title game — tuned in to watch the Gamecocks hoist the trophy.

📈 The audience peaked at 24 million people and the game now stands as the most-watched basketball game across men’s, women’s, college, and pro leagues since 2019.

🔼 Calendar Update. South Carolina and Clemson announced that the rained-out March 1 baseball game between the two programs will not be made up. Fans with tickets to the March 1 game can exchange their tickets by emailing [email protected] for more info.

🔼 From The Gridiron. South Carolina’s defensive line is packed full of veterans like Boogie Huntley, TJ Sanders, and Tonka Hemingway, and for defensive line coach Travian Robertson, having a core group of returning players makes all the difference in the world.

“I’m excited they came back, but I felt great about it because the relationship I built with them in the time that I was here,” Robertson said. “And so just to have all Tonka, Boogie and TJ back this year, it’s going to be huge for our defense, huge for our program. Their whole job this year is just leave this place better than what they found it.”

🤔 GAMECOCK TRIVIA
