The Gamecocks have one goal in mind: Omaha. But getting there is a team effort, from veteran leaders stepping up day after day to rookies making an impact. When No. 3 Vanderbilt came to Columbia, veteran Parker Noland and freshman Tyler Pitzer found it was their time to shine.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 To Chicago. Kamilla Cardoso is off to the Windy City! After being drafted No. 3 overall by the Chicago Sky, Cardoso talked about what it was like for her dreams to come true:

"Yeah, I feel like that was the dream, but honestly, no, I didn't really expect this," Cardoso said. "I'm just so proud that I am here right now. I know little Kamilla, when I was 13 years old, is also proud. I'm just excited to be here and happy."

🔼 Opening Bell. And speaking of Kamilla, she and Coach Dawn Staley rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange yesterday. Recap it here!

If you haven’t seen Coach Staley’s post-draft message to Kamilla, watch it now, and be prepared for all the feels.

🔼 Tourney Time. Postseason play gets underway this week for Gamecock men’s tennis. The team heads into the SEC Tournament ranked No. 24 overall in the ITA team rankings, while Toby Samuel checks in at No. 15 and Casey Hoole at No. 101 in the singles rankings. The dynamic duo of Samuel and Hoole is ranked No. 17 in doubles.

🔼 Midweek W. Gamecock baseball picked up the midweek victory yesterday with a 4-3 win over The Citadel on the road! Ethan Petry opened the scoring with an RBI in the first inning, while Dalton Reeves drove in the second run of the game. A Kennedy Jones sacrifice fly and a homer from Will Tippett finished off the scoring for the victory. The Gamecocks welcome No. 2 Arkansas to Founders Park for a three-game series this weekend.
