🔼 100 Club. South Carolina softball’s Denver Bryant joined the 100 Club this weekend, tallying her 100th career hit. Congratulations to the senior infielder on this incredible milestone!

🔼 Dominant On The Mound. Former South Carolina pitcher Jack Mahoney is Minor League Baseball’s California League Pitcher of the Week! Mahoney pitched six stellar innings on April 19 for the Fresno Grizzlies, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out five. Mahoney had a no-hitter going through the first five frames.

🔼 In The Trenches. One major bright spot from last weekend’s Garnet & Black spring game? South Carolina’s offensive line is full of young talent going against veterans on the defensive line, and the youngsters showed off their talent on Saturday night:

“We’re young on the offensive line, we’re old on the defensive line,” Coach Beamer said. “I mean, you talk about Jules and Kell and Tonka and Boogie and TJ. Those guys have been in college football for, some of those guys, five years now. Then you’ve got freshmen that should still be in high school today. They’re trying to block those guys and they’ve done a good job.”
