COMING TOMORROW NIGHT -- A new episode of "The Follow" with Gamecock baseball premieres this Thursday night exclusively on Gamecocks+. Episode 2 features the stories of Tyler Causey and Roman Kimball, as they battled back from injuries to take the diamond in 2024, setting the stage for a soon-to-be-released episode all about South Carolina’s upset over No. 3 Vanderbilt.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Electric Start. The Tim Hall era is electrifying Columbia! The highest ranking in program history belongs to this season’s Gamecock women’s outdoor Track & Field team, who landed at No. 2 in the USTFCCCA Top-25 this week.

And to top it off, JaMeesia Ford continues to collect awards! Ford won both the USTFCCCA National Women’s Runner of the Week and SEC Women’s Runner of the Week honors after posting not one, not two, but three first-place finishes in the Pepsi Florida Relays last weekend.

On the men’s side, South Carolina is ranked No. 17 - the highest ranking for the program since 2019.

🔼 Final Four Slate. The women’s college basketball Final Four stage is set. South Carolina will take on NC State on Friday, April 5, at 7:00pm ET on ESPN, while UConn vs. Iowa will follow approximately 30 minutes after our squad’s game ends.

🔼 100 Club. South Carolina softball’s Riley Blampied crossed a huge career milestone with the Gamecocks last weekend. Blampied became the 12th player in program history to hit the 100 RBIs and 100 runs scored milestone. Congrats, Riley!

In other epic news from Gamecock softball, Alana Vawter earned SEC Pitcher of the Week honors for the first time since transferring. It’s the fourth Player of the Week award of her career. Vawter threw a complete nine-inning game with six strikeouts, five hits, and no walks, then secured two wins in relief last weekend.

🔼 Diamond Recap. Gamecock baseball is back on the diamond tonight to take on Georgia Southern at 7:00pm ET. After another week on the field, the Gamecocks are ranked No. 15 in Baseball America’s Top 25, No. 19 by USA Today, No. 20 by the NCBWA, No. 22 by D1 Baseball, and No. 23 by Perfect Game.

Meanwhile, D1 Baseball updated its player rankings — and look how many of our guys made the list!

And lastly, we’re closing out the squad’s last week by honoring the team’s Player of the Week — none other than Ethan Petry! Here’s why.
