Fairway Family. Gamecock women’s golf crushed the NCAA Regionals to advance to the NCAA Championship later this month. This year’s team is a tight-knit group that refers to themselves as a family — and for good reason!

Join us on Hilton Head Island for the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate and you’ll see why this team is so close — and why the desert should prepare itself for the arrival of our incredible women’s golf team

🔼 Magic Eight. Two games, two eighth-inning go-ahead runs that delivered a win for Gamecock softball! South Carolina defeated second-seeded Georgia yesterday, 2-1, in extra innings. Brooke Blakenship brought home the game-winning run and Donnie Gobourne, who came on in relief, gave the Gamecocks five scoreless innings en route to the massive win. South Carolina is the first double-digit seed to make the conference semifinals since 2019.

The Gamecocks take on third-seeded Auburn this afternoon at 4 p.m. ET. You can find the game on ESPN2.

🔼 Five And Feeling Fine. South Carolina men’s tennis star Jake Beasley had a decision to make: come back for a fifth year or start the next chapter of his life. Beasley opted to wear the Garnet & Black one time more, and now he says that decision has better prepped him for life after tennis. Bonus: he’s had a great time on the court this season, too.

“We had a few big firsts this year,” Beasley said. “We reached No. 2 in the country. We had our first-ever win at Texas A&M. We had a doubles team ranked No. 1. It was definitely worthwhile to come back and be a part of that success.”

Coming back also allowed Beasley to write his name atop the Gamecock record books. After picking up a doubles win during the second round of the NCAA Tournament last weekend, Beasley moved into first place all-time in program history with 92 individual doubles wins.

Beasley and Gamecock men’s tennis are back on the court in the Sweet 16 tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m. ET against Tennessee.

🔼 Barks And Basketballs. From puppies to pictures to some epic dance moves, Aliyah Boston’s first Media Day in the WNBA had a little bit of everything. And when the Indy Humane Society brought adoptable rescue dogs to the party, Aliyah had just one question.

🔼. Rotate In. Gamecock baseball kicks off its final SEC road series of the season tonight in Fayetteville. Today’s opening pitch is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET with Eli Jones expected on the mound. Saturday’s game begins at 7 p.m. ET and Sunday’s contest is set for a 3 p.m. ET first pitch. You can catch all three games on SEC Network Plus.

🔼 A Loving Feeling. Men’s hoops transfer B.J. Mack had no shortage of options when he entered his name in the transfer portal. After his second stint in the portal, Mack knew exactly what he was looking for in his future home — and he found it in the Gamecocks.

“The first person to call me was Coach Paris when I went into the portal. He came and visited me here at school so that was a really big deal for me. He was the first coach to visit me in person,” Mack told GamecockCentral. “I was like, ‘I can see the difference between the coach who says they really want me and I’m a priority’ to I’m being shown that by a team and school like South Carolina if a head coach is doing that.”

And it was that same love and appreciation that Mack felt on his visit to Columbia that sealed the deal as Mack decided to call South Carolina home.
